My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the

I prefer to select php because the following reasons:
1) it is more user-friendly and easy to maintenance,
2) it is stable and has a lot of add-on plugin/module, so that not need programming technique for .net;
3) the performance of php is better and faster than .net;
4) php is more stable than .net;
5) .net has paid version so that it may be costly.
Your coder likes to use .net because it is more powerful than php, but it is also more complex. Hence, it may need cost for continuous maintenance. If you do not required specific function which can only be created by .net, I will advise you to stay using php.
